Habitats

Commonly found in bottomlands, mixed pine-hardwood forests and even urban areas. Also found in open woods, brushy abandoned fields and even pine plantations. ---

Habits and Life History

Breeds in temporary pools, flooded ditches and shallow wetlands. This species breeds from March to August, but the call given from trees from March to October.
