Description

Habitat

Swamps, bottomlands and low forested areas. Can also be seen in agricultural and urban areas.

Habits and Life History

Breeds from April to August, generally calling from low vegetation along lakes, swamps and open wetlands. This species is also know to call from flooded agricultural fields and farm ponds.
